Gotta love Brazil, oil prices drop, gas prices climb. Another 22 cents per litre after February 1st, 22 fucking cents, less than a month after the last increase of 15 cents! According to the ministry, the international oil Market is going through a universal increase in prices, but we all know that's bullshit, oil prices have been kept artificially low for a while now, and most counties have responded by dropping gas prices accordingly. What they should be saying is that they have to cover up for the massive embezzlement scheme at Petrobrás, so gas prices are going up because fuck you.

I swear, politicians should come with hinged heads, so we could use them as toilets.

Your last sentence... that is a brilliant idea, we should start this immediately.

That last santence reminds me of Kill Bill: "she didn't cut his head off, she turned him into a PEZ dispenser."

But in all seriousness, gas prizes are dictated by the government? No independent companies? That's like ... well ... what these dudes on those red flags wanted.

This has been done earlier. I remember it from the late 90s, in Duke Nukem 3D. There's even a youtube clip of the cut scene

And I'm getting 5 km/l, the most reliable car I own might be the one that will bankrupt me. Petrobras is, like all political related things in Brazil, a fucking shame.

Technically speaking, there are multiple companies competing. But Petrobras is the largest and produces most of the gas that others use. That quasi monopolistic power, combined with taxes and mandated fuel mixtures ( obligatory ethonpl content varies between 20-25% depending on sugar prices), means that the government effectively controls gas prices. And now they are going up "because of the international situation" . Pure bullshit

Same here, my Tipo get's 6.5 kpl on a good day, and it only takes high octane fuel, so I'm completely dependente on Petrobrás and their Podium gas...

The Tribeca will also only take high octane, but I refuel at Shell most of the time (not that it makes a single difference)
